About This Blog

Robotics content on the internet tends to come from one of two types of people: experts who know everything, and beginners who know nothing yet and are too intimidated to start.

This blog is written by someone firmly in a third category.

👉 An amateur programmer of the "gets the job done, don't look too closely" variety

👉 Electronics knowledge: somewhere around pre-school level

👉 Soldering skills: let's just say more things have been damaged than fixed

👉 Curiosity level: unreasonably high — interested in everything, committed to nothing, somehow still going

👉 Budget: enough to skip a few Starbucks runs and sacrifice the occasional Taco Bell Crunchy Taco in the name of science

This blog doesn't teach you anything — and that's intentional. As you can probably tell from the "impressive" introduction up top, this is simply a journal of one person's journey through the wonderfully chaotic world of Robotics.

If you find something useful along the way, that's a bonus. Thanks for stopping by — and good luck to both of us.
